The Role



Reporting to the Head of Sales & Business Development, the Sales Administrator will provide essential administrative support to the Sales team, helping to keep operations organised, efficient, and running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a highly administrative role that requires excellent attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to work independently on a daily task list. A key part of the job will be conducting sales research to identify potential opportunities and maintain accurate contact records. While you may occasionally assist at sales events, this position is primarily office-based and focused on supporting the sales function.

Key Responsibilities



Complete daily administrative tasks independently, following clear task lists and deadlines. Maintain accurate client and enquiry records, ensuring data is up to date and accessible. Prepare and format documents such as proposals, contracts, and confirmation packs. Manage filing systems (digital and physical) to keep sales documentation organised. Conduct sales research to identify new leads, gather market insights, and update contact databases. Assist in preparing materials for client meetings or occasional sales events. Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth information flow and timely updates. Uphold Marcliffe's standards for professionalism, accuracy, and customer focus in all written and verbal communications.

About You



Strong attention to detail -- able to spot errors and maintain accurate records. Highly organised and confident working independently. Professional, proactive, and reliable, with a can-do approach. Comfortable using administrative systems, emails, and spreadsheets. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Flexible to support occasional evening or weekend events if required (primarily office-based). Previous administrative experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
