Sales Administrator (Apprentice)

to support our advertising and commercial team. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop strong administrative and client management skills within a fast-paced publishing and media environment.

Key Responsibilities



Sales Support & Administration



Support the advertising team with day-to-day administrative tasks. Assist in preparing media packs, proposals, insertion orders, and advertising schedules. Edit, prepare, and send contracts to clients to confirm new deals. Maintain and update CRM records, client information, and internal trackers. Support order processing, invoicing, and the organisation of campaign materials. Compile sales reports and track booking progress, revenue, and deadlines.

Client & Campaign Management



Help manage brand campaigns after the sale, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish. Liaise with clients after contracts are signed to ensure campaigns stay on track and all requirements are met. Follow up with clients for approvals, artwork, campaign details, or missing materials. Ensure all client requests are communicated clearly to internal teams.

Internal Coordination



Liaise with the print and digital editorial teams to ensure client requests are delivered correctly and on time. Coordinate the handover of assets, artwork, copy, and campaign details between departments. Support the production team with deadlines and ensure all advertising content is scheduled properly.

Lead Generation & Sales Enablement



Source new leads for the sales team, including researching brands, agencies, and potential advertisers. Assist with outreach activities and help schedule follow-up calls or meetings. Maintain updated records of lead activity and support the early stages of the sales pipeline.

Learning & Development



Participate fully in all apprenticeship training and assessments. Develop a strong understanding of media sales, advertising operations, and the luxury publishing sector. Work closely with senior sales and editorial staff to grow your professional skills.

Skills & Qualities



Excellent organisation and time-management abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks. Confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems. Interest in luxury brands, media, marketing, or publishing is beneficial.

Entry Requirements



GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred. No previous office or sales experience required -- full training provided. Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong team-player mentality.
