Job Role: Sales Administrator

Job Type: Full time / Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hrs/week, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Salary: 25,000 per annum

Stage Depot is a leading national retailer of theatre equipment, supplying customers in the theatre, live events, and film & TV production industries, online and via the phone.

We are looking for an energetic, responsible and enthusiastic person who is comfortable working in a busy, ever-changing environment, based at our offices in Bristol.

As Sales Administrator, you will be working alongside the sales team, providing support by handling administrative tasks, liaising with customers, suppliers and couriers, processing orders, and answering telephone and email enquiries.

You will be able to learn and follow our in-house processes and consistently provide accuracy, care and a high quality of work, ensuring every interaction with Stage Depot is a positive one.

We require the applicant to have good IT and communication skills, be confident working in a team setting, able to multitask in a dynamic environment and be eager to learn.

Our employees enjoy a varied and diverse work environment, with set Monday to Friday hours. We are situated in Avonmouth with ample parking and direct access to the motorway. Alternatively, we're a short walk from Avonmouth train station which has direct links to Temple Meads, Lawrence Hill, Easton, Montpellier, Redland, Clifton and Shirehampton.

Responsibilities



Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and knowledgeable manner, over the phone and via email. Check for data accuracy in purchase orders and invoices, received and delivered. Process online orders, utilising effective customer service skills to resolve problems. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers. Communicate with suppliers regarding products, pricing and lead times. Track courier consignments and keep customers updated with the status of orders. Communicate effectively with coworkers and liaise between our sales and warehouse operations. Understand and utilise relevant computer systems to complete the work required. Assist with any other duties as reasonably required and adhere to all Health & Safety policies.

Skills required



Excellent customer service skills. An eagerness to learn about the industry and our range of products. Good ability to learn new processes and procedures. High level of accuracy, attention to detail and care for work carried out. Great all-round communication skills, written and verbal, to build relationships with customers and coworkers. Good literacy and numeracy. Computer literacy. Previous experience in the entertainment industry is not required but an interest in the industry is desirable (full product training will be provided).
