We're looking for a proactive, organised, and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join our friendly and dynamic sales team. This role is well suited to someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys variety in their day, and takes pride in providing efficient, high-quality support to help drive the team's success.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work closely with our sales teams, handling a variety of admin and customer-facing tasks that help drive growth and ensure a first-class service. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Supporting the internal and external sales team to help achieve sales targets.
Managing quotes, orders, and general sales admin with accuracy and attention to detail.
Building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
Helping to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Following up on leads, engaging with potential customers, and generating new ones through cold calling.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our systems, products, and pricing.
Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email with professionalism and speed.
Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth customer journeys.
Providing cover for internal sales staff across other depots when needed (with notice).
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a successful team. Ideally, you'll bring:
Strong computer skills - especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
Great organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
A team player who's just as comfortable working independently.
Previous experience in a sales support or admin role is a plus - but if you're motivated and keen to learn, we want to hear from you!
