Overview:


Are you a confident communicator who thrives on uncovering opportunities and winning work? We're seeking a proactive, sales-driven professional to join our Pre-Construction Team. In this role, you'll identify and pursue new business through portals, bids, tenders, and client outreach, playing a key role in the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:



Identify and follow up on sales leads through digital portals and industry databases Use platforms including Salesforce & Barbour ABI to track upcoming opportunities and key contacts Engage new prospects via persuasive phone calls and professional email communication Maintain and update pre-qualification portals, ensuring all company credentials are accurate and competitive Manage the enquiry inbox, prioritising and escalating high-potential opportunities Collaborate with the Operations Team to ensure fast turnaround on bids and tenders Provide administrative support and cover during staff absences Report regularly to the Pre-Construction Manager, sharing updates on leads, opportunities, and portal performance

Experience & Skills:



Previous experience working with Barbour ABI, Salesforce, or similar CRM and lead generation tools Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to influence and build rapport with prospects Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and work both independently and as part of a team Experience in sales, pre-construction, tenders, or client-facing roles preferred

Salary: 30,000.00 per year Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday (in-person) Location: Must be able to commute to our Chester office on a daily basis
