Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales department by Processing customer orders, managing administrative tasks, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth operations. This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various software applications.

Responsibilities



Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, respond to and redirect incoming calls in a busy office setting. Process incoming sales orders & ensure accurate data entry into the system. Document preparation, Raising quotes, Keeping customer records up to date, ensuring all are filled & compliant with GDPR. Manage customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction. Utilise CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain customer records. Generate, Analyse and produce action reports when needed. Assist with stock returns, transport & delivery related requests Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of sales activities. Maintain an organised filing system for all sales-related documents and correspondence. Assist to co ordinate senior sales staff diaries - recording annual leave and keeping track or toil, meetings and appointments Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety instructions. Conduct market research as needed to support the sales strategy.

Qualifications



Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with Sage or other accounting software is advantageous. Strong IT skills with a good understanding of CRM software. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build rapport with clients. Computer literacy is essential for performing daily tasks efficiently.
