Job Overview


Balconette is seeking an organised and customer focused Sales Administrator to join its Sales team to play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Sales team.

Balconette is a leading supplier of Glass Balustrades, Juliet Balconies and decking solutions, and this role would be the first point of contact when customers call us or make contact.

These are the day-to-day tasks:



Taking incoming calls Collecting information from these calls about the customers' requirements. Including contact with customers on getting any additional information, architectural plans or pictures of what they require Putting all this data in a clear, comprehensive and organised way to the sales team for quoting. Basic product quotes, orders and information. Follow ups on quotes, orders payments. Various administrative tasks such as brochure requests, processing emails and entering data into our computer systems. Providing full support to the sales team through numerous administrative tasks.

Excellent phone manner and communication skills, enthusiastic and someone you would want to speak to when calling somewhere. Desire to help and care for people. Must have experience speaking and dealing with people over the phone and does not get flustered. Able to direct communications and control the conversation. Must have good spoken and written English. Attention to detail in every task, retains what is taught and cares to do a good job from the smallest to the largest of tasks. Fast, Computer savvy, and good computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite Not afraid from learning and taking on new tasks. An understanding of construction related terminology.
The person does not need to be technically knowledgeable but must be able to understand what customers are talking about, picture their requirements and understand what we need to know.

If you have worked within a similar industry that would be beneficial, as well as being a DIY enthusiast, able to read drawings, experience with DIY or any type of assembly using drawings/picture instructions.

The Package:

Salary: 26,000 P/A

28 days holiday per year (20 days + 8 statutory)

Full-time office based in Blindley Heath - Surrey (due to our location reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work is required)

Hours of work 8:30am - 5.30pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00 per year
