Overview
Ariston Foods Ltd is all about commitment to its customers by delivering authentic Greek food and drinks products and exceptional customer support. As a Sales administrator, your main responsibility will be to proactively engage with your assigned customers via virtual channels. You'll focus on understanding their needs, promoting relevant products and services, and ultimately driving revenue growth by providing valuable solutions--all while ensuring a consistently high level of customer service.
On a daily basis, you'll be entering orders into our system, so strong attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy. You'll also use customer data and insights to identify trends, anticipate needs, and tailor your conversations accordingly. Building strong, trusted relationships through clear, confident, and friendly communication will be key--including handling any challenging conversations professionally when expectations aren't met.
Above all, your role is to drive sales while delivering outstanding service. The pace is fast, so you'll need to be efficient and responsive--but the role is equally rewarding and full of opportunity.
Skills Required:
Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English and Greek.
Initiative and a positive can do attitude.
An ability to work well within a targeted environment and to remain organised under pressure.
Excellent computer skills.
To have at least 1 year's experience in a similar role in the Food and Drinks sector.
Strong business development experience and evidence of converting sales.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Exceptional customer relationships skills in generating business growth.
Knowledge of Xero accounting software is a plus
Responsibilities will include:
Identify new sales and new business opportunities within the wholesale market.
Building relationships with our customers and processing customer orders.
Making outbound calls and taking inbound calls from our customers.
Maximising sales opportunities through account development and working closely with the Head of Sales.
This role covers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
