We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, ensuring that our store operates efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing the sales order process, from order entry and invoicing to arranging timely deliveries and providing post sale customer support.
Duties
Oversee daily retail operations to ensure smooth functioning of the store.
Handling customer enquiries, maintaining customer relationship management (CRM) systems, tracking inventory, liaising with logistics and suppliers, and generating sales reports to support the sales team and track company performance.
You will in particular processing sales orders, verifying details and handling payments accurately, generate sales invoices and manage credit checks.
You will also update and maintain accurate customer records in the CRM systems and prepare sales reports, charts and presentations for management
Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
Maintain an organised store layout, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in similar roles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to sell effectively and engage with customers.
Excellent time management skills, enabling efficient prioritisation of tasks.
Understanding of sales performance metrics, excellent
Organisation and multi-tasking skills, a team player with high level of dedication, ability to work well under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines.
IT literate, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Require minimum 2 years proven experience as a Sales administrator.
Ability to manage a diverse team, fostering an inclusive atmosphere that encourages growth and development.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced retail environment.
