About the role



The Sales Administrator provides essential support to the Sales Team, ensuring the efficient creation, processing, and management of sales documentation and customer orders.




Acting as a key interface between sales, customers, and internal departments, this role helps to ensure a smooth sales process from quote to fulfilment. Operating within a fast-paced IT services environment, the Sales Administrator is detail-oriented, responsive, and committed to delivering a high standard of accuracy and customer service.



Your day-to-day will include:



Quote & Order Processing: Accurately generate and process sales quotes, orders, and related documentation in line with company procedures and customer requirements. Renewals & Revenue Support: Manage third-party renewals and support proposal generation to drive recurring revenue opportunities in collaboration with the Account Management team. Customer Engagement: Act as a point of contact for customers on sales-related matters, ensuring prompt and professional responses that build trust and satisfaction. Procurement Coordination: Support client procurement activities, particularly around hardware and software licensing, ensuring compliance with vendor requirements and timelines. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers, Finance, Project Management, and the Service Desk to ensure seamless sales operations and customer fulfilment. Sales Reporting & KPI Tracking: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of customer-facing reports, including contract KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery. Renewal Management: Monitor and administer the renewal cycle for third-party services, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely execution and customer satisfaction.

You will bring these key competencies to the role:







Client Focus - Delivers professional, responsive support to both internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring a positive and efficient experience. Attention to Detail - Maintains high levels of accuracy when handling sales orders, renewals, and CRM data to avoid errors and ensure data integrity. Organisation & Time Management - Manages multiple priorities effectively, ensuring timely completion of administrative and sales-related tasks in a fast-paced environment. Effective Communication - Communicates clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams, ensuring information is understood and queries are resolved promptly. Collaboration - Works as an integral part of the Account Management and wider Commercial teams, supporting shared goals and contributing to a positive team culture. Technical Proficiency - Confidently uses Microsoft Office and CRM tools to process documentation, maintain sales records, and generate reports with efficiency. Accountability - Takes ownership of responsibilities, follows through on commitments, and ensures all sales processes are executed to standard. Adaptability & Initiative - Responds positively to change, proactively solves problems, and suggests improvements to enhance administrative workflows.

Experience Required:





Strong experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) to manage customer data, update sales pipelines, and track order status with accuracy. Sound understanding of the full sales cycle, from quoting and order generation through to renewals and fulfilment, with the ability to support Account Managers in achieving commercial goals. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, handling customer queries with professionalism and ensuring positive outcomes. Practical experience in raising and processing sales quotes and orders, ensuring compliance with internal policies and attention to commercial accuracy. Ability to understand customer needs and product/service offerings, contributing to upselling opportunities and supporting revenue retention activities. Exceptional attention to detail in handling sales documentation, renewals, and client records, ensuring all information is up to date and audit-ready. Comfortable working with multiple departments (e.g. Finance, Procurement, Projects) to coordinate order fulfilment and customer delivery requirements.
