Sales Administrator - Construction & Waste Innovation Sector Location: Scorrier, Cornwall Salary: 25,000-27,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Winners Recruitment is proud to be supporting one of Cornwall's most forward thinking engineering innovators in their search for a Sales Administrator to join their Scorrier-based team. Role Overview: This position is ideal for an organised and proactive individual with a strong commercial mindset. The Sales Administrator will support the internal and external sales teams, manage client accounts, process orders, and assist in operational logistics. There will also be some responsibility for supporting procurement, maintaining customer records, and occasionally covering the weighbridge team during absence or holidays. The role will initially focus on smaller, local accounts--offering great potential for professional development and growth. Key Responsibilities Sales & Lead Management Follow up on inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads Conduct proactive outreach via cold calls and emails Qualify leads and identify customer needs Sales & Operational Support Support the external sales team with quotations and product information Process orders and handle customer queries on availability, pricing, and delivery Assist with ordering consumables (e.g., diesel, oils) and obtaining supplier quotes Input and manage day-to-day operational paperwork Customer Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong client relationships Respond to issues or complaints with a solution-oriented approach Keep clients informed of updates, new offerings, and promotions Reporting & Collaboration Prepare regular sales reports and dashboards Liaise with internal departments including logistics and finance Support marketing efforts through follow-ups on campaign activity Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience in sales support, administration, or account management, ideally within construction, aggregates, or industrial sectors A commercial mindset and passion for business development Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) Strong communication, organisation, and negotiation skills Experience using tools like Glenigans or Barbour ABI (preferred, not essential) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Willingness to cover additional duties (e.g., weighbridge support) when required Benefits Competitive salary: 25,000-27,000 DOE 22 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension (3% employer contribution) Free on-site parking health & wellbeing programme Laptop provided Supportive, inclusive workplace culture If you're a confident administrator with an interest in sales and a passion for sustainability, apply today through Winners Recruitment to be part of a progressive company tackling environmental challenges head-on.
