We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Sales Administrator
to join our growing IT business. This is a
remote, work-from-home role
, providing vital administrative and operational support to the sales team across the Europe, Middle East and Africa. You'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth sales process, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent service to internal stakeholders, our customers and partners. You should expect to be kept very busy, this is time critical and demanding role, and a high level of daily activity will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily administrative support to the remote sales team across multiple European regions.
Prepare, manage, and process sales documents (quotes, proposals, and order processing).
Coordinate with internal teams (finance, logistics, technical support, compliance, and operations) to ensure efficient order management and service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of customer information and sales activities in the CRM system (Salesforce.com).
Monitor sales pipeline and performance, preparing reports for management.
Manage customer and partner enquiries via email, phone, and video conferencing, ensuring quick and professional responses.
Build strong relationships with Opengear's distributors and resellers.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, data security, and company procedures while working remotely.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in
Sales Administration, Sales Support, or similar
role, ideally within IT or technology.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently from home.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken); additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian) would be an advantage.
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and MS Office tools.
Tech-savvy, with the ability to manage workflows and collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability.
Knowledge of IT products, services, or distribution channels is a plus.
