Overview


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales department by ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients.

Duties



Manage sales orders from initiation to completion, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Maintain and update customer records in our database, utilising Sage software for efficient tracking. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing reports and presentations using Excel. Coordinate communication between departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Organise and maintain office files, documents, and correspondence in an orderly manner. Support the sales team with scheduling meetings and managing calendars effectively.

Experience



Proven experience in a sales administration or similar role is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential for data management and reporting. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. A solid understanding of customer service principles to enhance client relationships. Computer literacy is required; familiarity with Sage or similar software is advantageous but not mandatory.
