Following a period of sustained growth, we are now seeking a

detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator

to become a key part of our busy Hedge End office. About the Role



As a Sales Administrator, you will play a central role in supporting both our sales team and our customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing customer orders with accuracy, preparing essential sales documentation such as quotes and invoices, and handling customer enquiries with professionalism and care. You'll act as the link between our sales, logistics, and finance teams, ensuring that every stage of the order process runs smoothly and efficiently.

This position is well-suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-driven, and confident in managing multiple priorities at once. Responsibilities



Order Processing:

Entering and managing customer orders, ensuring accuracy on pricing, delivery details, and product availability.

Documentation

: Preparing sales quotes, invoices, contracts, and reports for management and clients.

Customer Communication:

Handling incoming calls and emails, responding to enquiries, and updating customers on order status.

Internal Coordination:

Liaising with warehouses, logistics, and finance teams to make sure products are delivered on time and invoiced correctly.

Data Management:

Maintaining SAP with up-to-date customer and sales information.

Problem Solving:

Resolving delivery issues, returns, complaints, or order discrepancies.

Requirements



Essential experience in administration or sales support.

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proactive approach to handling customer enquiries and internal processes.

Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (SAP Business One desirable but not essential).

Product knowledge in tools, PPE, or related industries advantageous.

Experienced in using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).

Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
