Sales Administrator
to join our team in Tamworth.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing science and technology company, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our
Business Development Team
and contributing to the success of our
Advanced Materials
division. You will work closely with our experienced Sales Development Manager, providing sales support, essential to maintaining an organised workflow and focused on enabling the team to achieve their gross margin targets.
You will be based at our Tamworth Office but may be asked to travel within the UK to support events or attend training.
We actively support professional development and provide regular training opportunities. You will receive ongoing support through our Company coaching and mentoring programme.
Key Responsibilities:
High standards of Customer Service: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Right First Time; On time: Follow company processes to ensure all tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and within our service standard time guidelines
Business Development: Reaching out to new and existing customers, onboarding new companies and contacts
Market and Product Updates: Stay updated on our products, customers and markets plus build close relationships with our suppliers. Communicate findings back to your team
Help manage workloads: Support colleagues by providing quotes, engaging with customers by phone, email and social media, updating CRM, receiving orders, responding to enquiries, and after-sales contacts
Preparation: Ensure your team has the resources they need to maximise gross margin revenue. This includes preparation of reports, presentations and sales related documents, ensuring they are all accurate, on-brand and professionally presented
Team Support: Share knowledge, take incoming calls, welcome visitors and provide cover for colleagues
Professional Development: Complete at least 30 hours of professional development per year
What We're Looking For
Person Specification:
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
Excellent communicator, enjoys talking to people on the phone
Want to collaborate and be an active part of the team
Motivated self-starter, with a positive, professional attitude.
Strong team member who takes pride in the work they complete
A keen attention to detail, ensuring product codes and formulae are correct, and brand guidelines are followed
Experience:
B2B Sales Administration: Two years, or Business Admin Level 3
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
SageCRM and Sage200 (preferred)
Second language (bonus!)
