Summary of Role:

As a Sales Administrator, you will be a pivotal point of contact for our customers. Your responsibilities will include converting new enquiries into successful sales, as well as nurturing our existing clientele. The majority of your interactions will take place via email, where you will be tasked with providing quotes and ongoing support to our customers throughout their order process. You will also be responsible for answering phone calls to respond to queries or making outgoing calls where appropriate.

You will be entering order data into our system, assisting with digital proofs for customers and communicating with the rest of our departments. This is to ensure the customer's needs are carried out both correctly and in time for any deadlines they may have.

The number of concurrent orders you are responsible for can be extensive. This is particularly the case during the busier summer months. Each order you process will require monitoring right through to fulfilment.

Additionally duties will often include (but may not be limited to) liaising with our suppliers, ordering stock and offering solutions for customers where stock may not be available. The responsibility of creating content for social media is also shared amongst office staff.

We expect you to be proactive, and somewhat self-directed, in prioritising both duties and any additional goals. At Blackwater Studios, we are constantly refining our processes and methods. This is generally in an unstructured and collaborative approach to ensure the business is always developing. On-the-job training will be provided.
