This is a great opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join our busy Sales Administration Department supporting all administration aspects within our Retail department.
Our sales team is very busy and to ensure that their customer expectations are met we require a strong Sales Administrator with good organisational skills and a sound background preferably gained within a sales environment (motor trade experience advantageous but not essential).
DUTIES
To assist in processing all documentation relating to retail vehicle sales
Complete forms in respect of V5C/tax applications and refunds, raising cheques for sign off as required
Process all requests for vehicles to be transferred out ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete, vehicles removed from stock lists and any necessary payments received.
Update computer files with all relevant details
Respond to any internal and external queries effectively, whilst providing excellent customer service.
Use DVLA/RAV system to issue registration numbers and tax new vehicles
Use DVLA online to update owner details and dates and tax used vehicles.
Use Excel to keep company demonstrator vehicle details updated and apply for new tax or breakdown cover for these as required
Register vehicles on the warranty system
Book vehicles into stock
Invoice trade orders
To build rapport and understand customer requirements.
To promote satisfactory customer relations through expeditious and courteous handling
Assisting with ordering and controlling new car stock through use of internal control system also Toyota GB ordering system.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Good level of general education including Maths and English GCSE
Previous Administration Experience
Practical experience of working in a Sales oriented environment (Desirable)
Experience of Account Management/Customer liaison (Desirable)
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to present a professional image at all times
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all customers, suppliers and colleagues
Knowledge of computer systems
