General description:
King Print is a local business of 33 years standing, serving Kingsbridge and the surrounding area.
We are looking for someone to join our small, busy team.
Our core business is
retail
, (selling frames, binoculars, cameras, batteries, memory cards and other accessories),
photo printing
- helping customers to use our photo kiosks to order prints and other products, and
taking passport and I.D. photos
.
We offer a large range of photo gifts, many are produced on site, from t-shirts and mugs to fridge magnets.
We also print and bind documents, print large format posters and plans, design and print business cards, and encapsulate documents. We provide a walk-in printing point for customers, for legal documents, boarding passes, returns labels etc. You must be happy using computer both Mac and Windows.
You need to be personable and friendly, able to assist a variety of customers. Retail experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be given.
Hours, typically 10.00am-4.00pm,
working 2 days from 6 (Monday to Saturday)
. This is 11 hours per week. Most likely Monday and Tuesdays with some Saturdays or to suit the whole team.
Holiday cover for other staff means 12 weeks a year working 4 days a week.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs
Provide detailed product information and demonstrate features where applicable
Identify customer requirements through active listening and suggest suitable options
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an inviting shopping environment
Keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked, replenishing stock as necessary
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to enhance sales effectiveness
Requirements
Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
Organised, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends if required, with a positive attitude towards customer engagement
Basic numeracy skills for processing transactions accurately
A professional appearance and friendly demeanour are essential for representing our brand effectively

Pay: 7,035.00-8,659.00 per year
