With a dedicated team of 15 people, we deliver the personalised service of a small business while offering the expertise and resources of a much larger organisation. Our close-knit team collaborates to provide our dealer partners top-quality products, sales support, and after-sales care.

Role Overview

x1 Full time position, Monday to Friday 0830-1630

x1 Part Time position, days and hours to be discussed. Part time may lead to a full time position.


We seek a Sales and Customer Service Assistant to join our growing team. This varied and rewarding role supports our sales operations and customer service functions. You'll ensure a smooth and efficient experience for our dealers and customers, from processing orders to handling after-sales and warranty enquiries.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a positive, proactive attitude. You'll work closely with the sales team, assist with promotions, and serve as a key customer and warranty support contact.

Key Responsibilities



Enter and process customer and dealer orders promptly and accurately. Track orders and coordinate timely deliveries. Respond to dealer enquiries regarding products, stock availability, and order status. Assist with promotional emails and campaign coordination. Maintain organised digital records and support reporting performance indicators. Handle incoming telephone calls and emails relating to warranty issues. Process product returns and warranty claims efficiently. Communicate proactively about order, return, and warranty claim statuses. Liaise with suppliers to order spare parts and receive warranty-related shipments. Perform minor repairs on certain products as required. Maintain accurate service records and update internal systems. Suggest ideas for improving processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience



Essential

Minimum 2 years in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities effectively.
Preferred

Experience with Sage Accounts and WooCommerce (or similar software). An understanding of or interest in fly fishing is advantageous but not required.
