Sales & Estimating Assistant

Duties

Support the Managing Director with preparing and issuing customer quotations. Review engineering drawings, specifications, and customer enquiries to gather the required information for estimates. Assist with calculating material, tooling, and production costs for a range of machined components. Maintain accurate records of quotes, job details, lead times, and customer communications. Liaise with customers to clarify requirements, chase RFQs, and provide updates on outstanding quotations. Work closely with production and engineering teams to verify machining methods, timings, and feasibility. Upload, organise, and manage customer documents, drawings, and data within the company's CRM/ERP system. Prepare and issue order acknowledgements once quotes are accepted. Help identify opportunities for follow-up or repeat business. Support general sales administration including emails, calls, and maintaining customer information. Monitor inboxes for incoming RFQs and distribute them to the appropriate team members. Ensure all quotations are delivered accurately and on time. Contribute to building strong, long-term customer relationships through friendly and professional communication.

Mon-Thu 8-5pm

Friday 8-2pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,000.00 per year
