Job Summary:


The Sales and Marketing Executive at Clandon Regis Golf Club is responsible for driving membership growth, increasing event bookings, and promoting the golf club's facilities and services. This role involves developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Manager to achieve revenue targets and enhance the club's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales and Revenue Generation:



Develop and execute sales plans to attract new members and retain existing ones in conjunction with the Sales & Marketing Manager. Identify and pursue opportunities for corporate memberships, group bookings, and event hosting. Achieve annual sales targets.

Marketing Strategy and Implementation:



Create and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote the golf club's services, including social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising. Assist with the design and production of promotional materials, such as brochures, and digital content, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies set by the Sales & Marketing Manager. Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.

Event Management:



Promote events, including corporate outings, weddings, and other special occasions. Coordinate Golf Societies from enquiry right through to post-event feedback. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure the successful execution of events. Manage event logistics, including booking spaces and arranging catering.

Customer Relationship Management:



Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, and prospective members. Provide exceptional customer service and address any inquiries or issues promptly. Conduct regular follow-ups with leads and clients to ensure satisfaction and foster loyalty.

Market Research and Analysis:



Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Gather feedback from members and guests to continuously improve the club's offerings. Prepare and present reports on sales performance, market trends, and member feedback to senior management.

Collaboration and Teamwork:



Work closely with other departments, such as golf operations, food and beverage, and finance, to ensure a seamless experience for members and guests. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall strategic planning of the club. Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to align sales and marketing efforts and achieve common goals.

Qualifications:



Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales and marketing. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as social media and email marketing. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
