Recon Resources is an award-winning company based in Portadown and specialises in producing high quality recycled products for use in construction and agriculture. These include screened topsoil, pea gravel and sand.

We are now looking for a Sales and Marketing Executive to help us develop our sales opportunities throughout Ireland.

What you'll be doing:

This is a combined sales and marketing role aimed at increasing our sales of top-soil and related products throughout Ireland.

Sales: You'll develop databases of potential customers in the garden centre/landscaping/construction sectors and approach these prospects with the aim of converting sales.

Marketing: You'll take the lead on revamping the marketing efforts of the Company- improving website, social media and leading on a Company re-brand. You'll then maintain our improved marketing efforts to increase awareness of our offering amongst our target market.

You'll contribute to writing bids for public sector work and monitor tender alert websites for opportunities.

What we're looking for:

You will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a B2B sales/marketing role and the tenacity and self-motivation to succeed in sales.

You'll have well developed marketing skills including knowledge of the key social media platforms, and the ability to write blogs and develop engaging content.

You'll have some SEO knowledge and basic website management skills

You'll have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and be comfortable with approaching and presenting to potential customers.

What we're offering:

Salary of c.35k negotiable depending on experience

Performance-related bonus
