We are looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead the sales and marketing function of our fast-growing e-commerce business. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our presence on over 15 online marketplaces, driving sales growth, and ensuring the sales team delivers excellent performance.
This role requires someone with proven experience managing multiple marketplace accounts (Amazon, Wayfair, eBay, and others), building and executing sales strategies, and leading a team. You will also work closely with operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Marketplace Management
Develop and execute a clear sales and marketing strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Manage and optimize performance across 15+ online marketplaces, ensuring compliance, competitiveness, and account health.
Analyze market data, sales trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
Optimize listings, pricing, promotions, and advertising across all platforms.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, monitor, and motivate the sales and marketing team, ensuring accountability and high performance.
Provide coaching and training to improve team effectiveness and skills.
Reassign tasks, adjust priorities, and recruit additional staff as needed to meet business demands.
Marketplace Oversight and Optimization
Ensure product listings on all marketplaces are accurate, competitive, and fully optimized.
Maintain healthy account status on all platforms, resolving any issues quickly.
Collaborate with operations to ensure stock availability aligns with sales plans and avoid overselling.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Work closely with operations, warehouse, and logistics teams to align sales activities with fulfillment and delivery capacity.
Help improve internal workflows between departments to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Marketing and Brand Growth
Plan and oversee online marketing campaigns including ads, SEO, social media, and email to support sales growth.
Measure and report on campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
Requirements:
Strong experience in a sales or marketing leadership role within e-commerce.
Hands-on experience managing multiple online marketplace accounts (Amazon, Wayfair, eBay, etc.), ideally at scale (10+ platforms).
Proven ability to lead and develop teams, set KPIs, and drive results.
Deep understanding of marketplace optimization strategies, policies, and tools.
Knowledge of digital marketing channels and how to leverage them to support sales.
Excellent collaboration skills to coordinate effectively with operations and logistics.
Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
