As a customer service agent you will be helping our customers, dealing with new and existing policies.
You will be delivering outstanding experiences by providing practical solutions regarding current or new policies. You will use your organisational skills in a kind and empathetic way, ensuring our customers are cared for at every step of the way.
You will be dealing with inbound calls; you will have excellent communications skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Hours: The working pattern for this role will be 12.00 - 18.00 Monday to Friday and 09.00 - 17.00 every other Saturday. (30 hours week 1 and 3 and 37.5 hours weeks 2 and 4)
You will be required to attend a 4 week induction period covering Monday - Thursday 10.00 - 16.00.
Duties
You will:
Handle all calls in a helpful, polite and professional way
Provide proactive solutions to our customers including any upgrades needed for their policy.
Handle medical screening for any customer who needs to declare a pre-existing condition.
Handle any query and ensure the customers policy is updated with summary notes of any conversation had.
Monitor all aspects of the task to ensure all services are provided at the agreed time and customers are kept fully appraised of the progress
Experience
You will have a good level of general education, including Maths & English A-C GCSE or equivalent
A genuine desire to provide a high level of customer service
The ability to multitask
Able to show empathy and remain calm in a pressurized environment
Flexible to the needs of the business around your availability
Desirable
Previous experience of working in a call centre environment.

Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent qualification
- Strong organisational skills
- Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of travel insurance industry is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in sales or customer service is beneficial
