We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Service Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support while promoting our products and services. Your ability to engage with customers and understand their needs will be crucial in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance the customer experience. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Maintain a clean and organised sales area, ensuring that displays are well-stocked and visually appealing. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure a positive resolution. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of service. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. A friendly, approachable demeanour with a passion for delivering excellent service. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and cash management. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends as required.
