As we start to get into the festive spirit where our Christmas ranges are on full display on the shop floor, we are now recruiting for a hardworking and flexible individual to join the seasonal cheer on our Tills at Downtown Garden Centre and help deliver our customers a Christmas full of joy and warmth.
Starting as soon as possible, this temporary role will run until 3 January. For the duration of the fixed-term, there will be an opportunity to apply for any permanent roles that arise within the Company.
Hours are 20 per week worked on 4 days out of 7, requiring you to adopt a flexible approach to working shifts and times. There will be a need to work weekends in line with our busiest trading times.
You will focus on providing a superb customer experience whilst serving our customers, exceeding their expectations with friendliness and warmth, building rapport and assisting with purchases. You should have excellent communication skills and a great teamworking ability, as you may also be required to help out in other areas of the Garden Centre.
Previous experience gained in a similar retail environment would be beneficial.
