In addition to our online mail order business, we operate numerous sales outlets at Christmas markets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and England. As an established family business with a permanent staff of 20, we employ up to 150 additional seasonal workers during the season. Our goal is to inspire people with our high-quality Christmas items and offer both customers and employees a positive experience all around.

Your tasks at a glance

Make children's eyes light up:

Sell high-quality, beautiful traditional and modern Christmas items and Christmas tree decorations to a primarily international audience.

No boredom:

Thanks to high customer frequency, you enjoy selling to a cheerful and always interested clientele.

Teamwork & personal responsibility:

You will work in a team of up to 6 people, mostly alone during the week and in pairs or groups of three on weekends or during peak sales periods.

Product maintenance & attractive presentation:

Since we typically sell a lot,

continuously restocking and sorting the display - even during opening hours -

is a key part of your job. Additionally, if needed, you will assist with stocking new deliveries at least once a week for up to three hours before the store opens, ensuring

a beautifully stocked stand at all times!

Focus on the customer:

Our simple IT system handles reorders, allowing you to fully concentrate on our customers' needs.

Structured & reliable:

After the sales close, you take care of the daily cash register closing.

Training & Product Range Knowledge:

You will actively utilize your paid training (approximately 1-2 half-days) to organize our product range and decorate the display. This way, you will quickly become familiar with our products and storage locations and

be optimally prepared for sales!

We are looking for

committed students, graduates, sales and organizational talents

Our minimum requirements for you:

Time availability:

(approx. 3 shifts of 6 hours each).

Maximum possible weekly working hours

: Approx. 50 hours - in exceptional cases more hours are possible.

Typical working hours

: There are usually 6-hour shifts, either from 10:30am to 4:30pm or from 4:30pm to 10:30pm.

. As a dedicated manager, you'll be our on-site heartbeat: You'll ensure the store runs smoothly, coordinate the team smoothly, and serve as our direct liaison.

For your commitment, you will receive an

What status do you expect to have in November and December 2025? (e.g., school student, student, graduate, full-time/part-time employed, job seeker, etc.) This information is crucial for determining the correct type of employment. What is the maximum number of hours (or shifts) per week you could work? What do you particularly enjoy about working at the Christmas market? Are you willing to work on busy weekends and evenings?
