The ideal candidate

MUST

:

Be available to work weekdays as well as weekends. Be confident and have excellent sales and communication skills; Be experienced in the use of Adobe Photoshop or have a keen interest/background in photography; Ideally have at least 12 months retail sales experience; Be living within the local area; ideally walking/bike distance.
Working in a busy shop in Cheltenham town centre, we are looking for an outgoing Sales Assistant with personality and a flair for sales and excellent customer service in a busy Photographic Retail shop.

If so, we are seeking an exceptional Sales Assistant with a drive to achieve targets, a positive can-do attitude and outstanding customer service skills. This is a Permanent role with excellent opportunities to gain experience in digital photography and printing.

The successful candidate will be energetic, motivated, team-player and must be retail-minded; someone who enjoys selling and communicating with customers. You will be responsible for ensuring all customer needs are met whilst working towards achieving the daily and weekly sales targets. The ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, in a team as well as independently are essential.

You must be presentable as you will be the face of the brand on the shop floor. Encouraging sales of photographic merchandise, as well as offering a high quality and fast service in taking and printing passport photos, photo processing, printing posters, canvases and photo-gifts.

As part of a small team, you must be flexible (with regards to weekly rota arrangements) and will be expected to work on weekdays, weekends and during half-terms.
