This position is for a seasonal sales assistant in the Reading Oracle store and is an opportunity for anyone seeking to apply their sales and retail knowledge to some of the most exciting product to work with on the high street.



HMV is only increasing its position on the high street every year with an ever evolving and adapting competitive product range. If you enjoy the prospect of selling everything from pop culture goods to the heavyweight comeback of Vinyl records this could be the job for you.



The position, although 5 hours per week contracted, will certainly yield more hours over the course of your employment. We are seeking an individual who is available all days of the week for a wide variety of shift openings from morning to evenings.



Please note it is imperative that candidates are available to work all throughout the peak holiday weeks of December for our busiest trading season.



The position is for a Seasonal contract so there is no guarantee we will retain staff past the end of the seasonal period. However, we often do take seasonal sales assistants who have performed exceptionally over the course of their time with us if we are able to do so, subject to any permanent vacancies we may have in store in the new year.
