Sommerville Feeds are currently looking for a full time

Sales warehouse, Operative/Holiday cover delivery driver to join our family run business, we are an Equine, Pet & Country Store based Near Symington, Kilmarnock

This role will be responsible for ensuring all goods are received, stored and despatched as per company standards. This includes ensuring all documentation, cash and computer transactions are carried out in an accurate and timeous manner to include the following key responsibilities:-

Retail sales (handling cash, Card, use of Epos Till)

Off load vehicles and check in goods in and place the appropriate storage area.

Handle customer orders and load customer vehicles as required.

Carry out stock counts as requested by Management.

Maintain stock levels on shelves.

Ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained.

Holiday cover for deliveries to customers.

Forklift operation (forklift certificate preferred).

The candidate should ideally have experience in a similar environment, be available for staggered shift work which is 5 days over 7.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 37.5 per week
