Bolton Brothers Ltd, a leading recycling and waste management company, is looking for a Sales & Business Development Executive to join our dynamic sales team. Based in Gt Blakenham, just 5 miles from Ipswich, you'll be instrumental in expanding our regional presence and helping businesses become more sustainable.
What You'll Be Doing:
This isn't your typical desk job. You'll be on the front lines, generating new business and nurturing existing relationships. You'll manage the entire sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals and ensuring a seamless transition to our operations teams. You will:
Drive Growth: Actively generate and win new contracts for services like trade, skip, and confidential waste collections.*
Be a Trusted Partner: Visit clients on-site to understand their needs and provide tailored, effective solutions.*
Own the Process: Manage leads, create proposals, negotiate contracts, and report on your progress using our CRM.*
Build Relationships: Act as a key point of contact for clients and suppliers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.*
Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with our operations, transport, and compliance teams. You'll also have the opportunity to develop and contribute to our marketing and social media campaigns based on your firsthand experience.*
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep a finger on the pulse of the waste management and recycling industry, adapting to market changes and sharing your insights.*
What We're Looking For:
You have a "can-do" attitude and a desire to take initiative. You're a natural problem-solver with a collaborative spirit. You're comfortable both in the office and out in the field, ready to take on new challenges and grow with our team.
The Overall Package:
Compensation: We offer a competitive base salary with a clear path to higher earnings. Your On-Target Earnings (OTE) are tied to your department's performance against set targets, rewarding you directly for your success.
Schedule: This role offers a great balance with a split schedule: approximately 3 days in the field and 2 days at our office. Our standard hours are 8:30 to 17:15 - Monday to Thursday and 08:30 to 17:00 Friday.
Flexibility: You'll have access to a company pool car for your site visits.
Time Off: Enjoy 28 days of annual leave, inclusive of Bank Holidays.
