We are seeking a high-performing Sales Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Hard and Soft Facilities Management services. This role is pivotal in expanding our client base, securing new contracts, and promoting integrated FM solutions tailored to commercial, industrial, and public sector environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow both Hard (M&E, HVAC, building maintenance) and Soft (cleaning, security, waste management, grounds maintenance) service lines.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, and lead generation.
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, client engagement, proposal development, tender submissions, and contract negotiation.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure service offerings align with client needs and compliance standards.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and bids for RFPs and tenders.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategy.
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within the FM industry, covering both Hard and Soft services.
Strong understanding of technical and operational aspects of facilities management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (preferred).
Professional certifications in FM (e.g., IWFM, BIFM, CIBSE, SIA) are advantageous.
