ASKINOLOGY is Dr Askari Townshend's second clinic and was founded 10 years ago. He has over 20 years' experience in aesthetics including being the Director of Medical Aesthetics at one of the UK's largest chain of aesthetic clinics, training and speaking both nationally and internationally.

ASKINOLOGY has the UK's first (and award winning) facial bar in the City of London near Bank and Liverpool St stations. Across 3 levels, we also house a cosmeceutical boutique, facial bar and 3 room aesthetic laser clinic and are extremely proud of our 4.8 score from over 600 Google reviews!

We have won 3 major awards including Best New Clinic UK & Ireland and Best New Practice London. Last year, we were Highly Commended for Best London Clinic.

Job summary



This role could be adapted for the right candidate:

1. A full Clinic Manager role as advertised, responsible for the running of the clinic, staff management inc 121s and target setting/sales performance.

2. A more administrative Clinic Co-ordinator role, responsible for the smooth running of the clinic but without responsibility for sales.

3. A treating Clinic Co-ordinator

The salary will reflect the role you have the skills and experience to perform.

We are looking for a confident team leader with with a wide range of people and admin skills to manage a team of 5 FOH/therapists and 3 injectors. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a proven track record of clinic management, including setting and delivering KPIs. You will be involved in all aspects of running and growing a small but busy aesthetic clinic in the City of London, working closely with and report to Dr Askari.

Being a great communicator, quick learner, problem solver and working under pressure is essential! This is a challenging role that has in house training and senior support with progression for those who want and have the ability for it.

For those that do not have experience of managing teams with sales targets and performance, this role can be split into a Clinic Co-ordinator role, managing the administrative side of the business and separate Business Development / Sales role.

What we do



Our facial bar offers a range of Peels, Hydrafacial and LED mask. In the clinic, treatments include laser hair removal, fractional laser for scarring and texture problems, IPL for broken veins and sunspots, radio frequency, Secret RF, dermapen, peels (including Cosmelan) and fat freezing.

Key Responsibilities:



Assisting with all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the clinic.

Setting/achieving targets and motivating the team to achieve theirs.

Using initiative to solve problems and find solutions.

Identifying important challenges to senior management and maintaining good communication with the team.

Gaining/maintaining a good knowledge our treatments and products in order to advise clients.

Ensuring cleanliness and pristine presentation of the clinic.

Managing complaints and maintaining fantastic Google reviews.

Ensuring correct opening up/closing down clinic procedure.

Assisting with recruitment, staff training and assessments.

Assisting with CQC compliance.

Managing invoices/delivery notes and ensuring suppliers are paid on time.

Covering front of house when necessary.

What experience/skills do you need?



Minimum of 2 years team management Good commercial awareness with proven track record of working to and achieving KPIs Ability to motivate and get the best out of the team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to give amazing customer service, no matter what. Well presented & excellent phone manner. Excellent MS Office & diary management skills. 100% team player with fantastic work ethic, wanting to become the best you can be. Knowledge/experience in advanced skin treatments is desirable but not essential. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

What qualifications do you need?



Ideally minimum C Grade - English & Maths GCSE -?
