Role Description

As part of an established, well respected, and innovative sales team for a Plumbing & Heating distribution company dealing with the markets biggest manufacturers you'll be expected to work towards building more effective relationships with our already respected customer base, maintain and enhance our reputation whist improving product mix, turnover, gross profit and gross margin.

We will be looking to maximise the opportunity of incoming calls and being more proactive by discussing special offers, identifying add on products as well as associated lines as well as selling in a greater mix of product on a more regular basis aided with promotion, product training and shared knowledge of the market competition and trends as well as utilising the opportunities that an effectively managed back-order process presents.

Our goal is to maximise every sales opportunity, encourage individual development and growth along with providing the ultimate customer service experience.

The role will comprise of:



Building and developing relationships with Identified customers Identify and create opportunities from our product portfolio, by using the company's reporting system. Warm calling to generate and process new sales leads as necessary. Work towards achieving set targets. Create a close working relationship with your colleagues to encourage and develop individual performance as well as contributing towards an enjoyable working environment for everyone Use initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers and in turn maximise profitable sales and margin. Support the external sales team via a buddy system Any other requirements set by your line manager/supervisor

Skills & Experience



Positive and can-do attitude with plenty of perseverance. Good analytical skills. Excellent relationship building skills. Impeccable desire to reach and exceed targets. Experience of working in an outbound sales environment.

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
