Sales Controller / Transaction Manager

to join our successful Watford dealership.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring every deal is maximised for profit while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This is a hands-on role for a driven and detail-oriented professional who enjoys leading by example and supporting the sales team to achieve their targets.

Key Responsibilities

Control all aspects of the sales process from enquiry to handover Support Sales Executives in structuring profitable deals and finance packages Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies Oversee part-exchange appraisals, used car valuations, and stock control Monitor daily sales performance and implement improvement plans Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews for the sales team Liaise with the Sales Manager and Business Manager to meet departmental targets

About You

Proven track record as a Sales Controller, Business Manager, or Transaction Manager within a franchised dealership Strong understanding of finance products and compliance Excellent communication and negotiation skills Target-driven, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment A full UK driving licence is essential
