Located on Ludgate Hill, just on the corner of St Paul's cathedral, one of the most iconic London landmarks, Lost Property hotel has 145 bedrooms, a restaurant and bar called Found, a coffee house called Tattle, and a gym.

About the role





You will be the first point of contact for all new enquiries and will have strong communication skills and be a real people person.



You'll work in support of the Sales Manager to achieve revenue sales and marketing strategies for the hotel to ensure plans are implemented, results are monitored, and sales goals are achieved. Regularly sell hotel rooms, and food beverage outlets through direct client contacts.


Responsibilities and Duties:



People



Display excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Supporting the creation and development of special events and sales blitzes to showcase the hotel to potential clients Cultivate local relationships with existing and new clients Conduct show rounds and attend networking events and represent the hotel/group at industry events, trade shows as required with the support of the Sales Manager Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts (example: guests, repeat clients, travel agencies, and local community groups) to produce group business, including room sales, food and beverage sales, restaurant and event services with the support of the Sales Manager Maintain open communication with all departments to ensure the best guest experiences are met, including any key requests, arriving VIP's and large groups with the support of the Sales Manager

Produce weekly/monthly reports on activity, corporate production, pipeline and track all sales activity within Salesforce in line with required timeframes Achieve KPI's in line with team strategy, consisting of a projected number of sales calls/appointments and leads per week/month Attend all the required Hilton commercial webinars and training Meet greet new corporate clients at the hotel to cultivate new relationships Maintain up to date client records and maintain an accurate list of all decision makers and bookers within Salesforce Maintaining and developing the production of local accounts through total account management with the support of the Sales Manager Support in maintaining and updating 3rd party websites Support in developing the hotel's reputation and brand awareness within the local community

Support Sales Manager to achieve budgeted revenues and perform in line with personal/team sales goals and maximize profitability Responding to enquiries and group requests in a timely manner whilst seeking support from the Revenue and Sales manager Support in submitting corporate RFP's and load corporate rates with the support of the Sales Manager Complete telesales, email campaigns and sales blitzes as part of monthly sales activity Effectively cross sell other properties within the Dominus Group estate when opportunities arise Promptly follow up and on all account needs and enquiries. Supporting and assist in driving hotel fair market share performance amongst each unit in the competitive set by reviewing key reports such as hotelligence 360, STR and hotel pace, offering strategy changes when needed with the support of the Sales Manager Analyse and report Agency 360 findings, by converting such findings into activities seeking new business with the support of the Sales Manager Drive measurable incremental sales in key-focused segments - increasing average rates, total room revenue, and food and beverage sales Data mining, research and pipeline development in line with hotel strategy to create new business wins

About you




Previous guest exposure in the Tourism and Hospitality industry for a year, preferably in an upmarket hotel environment, relevant to sales Good knowledge of MS Office, and hotel PMS systems is an advantage Strong communication skills through a variety of means Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills An empathetic and a professional approach at all times Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks High attention to detail and accuracy - great at managing one's own time

Lost Property St. Paul's Hotel is located on Ludgate Hill, 100 metres from St. Paul's Cathedral and it is the newest addition to the Curio Collection within the Hilton portfolio in London.



The hotel consists of six floors and includes the buildings original facade. Lost Property St. Pauls features a charming restaurant and bar called Found but also a a neighbourly Coffee House - Tattle - offering British produced sourced locally.



The Interior design includes classic features and rich tones to complement the facade and immediate vicinity. Each room is influenced by eclectic artwork and contemporary design touches inspired by the London's rich history in partnership with Key Interior and Designs and ICA Studio.



BREEAM approved with an "Excellent" rating the hotel will feature an upscale brand experience, courtesy of Curio by Hilton.
