Job Overview



We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to be an integral part of our sales team providing back-office support (including providing quotes and placing orders) to enable a field sales Packaging Specialist to spend their time actively selling, as well as account management and cold calling to generate new sales orders.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:



Support to allocated Packaging Specialist/s (Field sales)

Provide administration and coordination support including:

Generate quotes

Process orders accurately

Liaise with Warehouse to check order on course and inform customers of any potential delays/problems escalating to packaging specialist when appropriate

Deal with customer enquiries

Collaborate with Packaging Specialist to manage customer accounts

Account Management/Sales



Provide account management for allocated customers including:

Be main point of contact for all enquiries

Manage stock levels for call off stock

Deal with any queries/complaints escalating when appropriate

Proactively target new and inactive customers with the aim of gaining regular custom

General Admin



Answer incoming calls and relocate them to the appropriate person if necessary

Respond to emails that come in to general sales email address

Process quotes and sales orders accurately

Experience, Key Skills and Qualifications:



Excellent customer service skills

Worked for Wholesaler/Merchant preferable but not essential

Worked in a similar internal sales role

Good planning and organisation skills

Strong IT skills including using email, word, BC, Excel (or similar customer order system)

Sales skills including cold calling

Confident communicator

Great telephone manner

Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year
