snuginteriors is an independent retailer of luxury beds, mattresses, bedding and sofas. From our beautiful showroom in Rake (near Petersfield), Hampshire, and through our online shop, we serve customers nationwide. We are renowned for offering expert advice and 5-star customer service, which is central to what we do.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for our next

Sales & Customer Service Specialist

to join our small, driven team.

The role is split between retail sales, selling in-store and over the phone, and head office duties to ensure all orders are successfully managed from enquiry through to delivery. You will work closely with customers, manufacturers, and delivery partners to uphold our 5-star customer service and will be instrumental in the office administration required to keep the showroom and online shop running smoothly.

You will work as part of a small team across a variety of business functions giving exposure and plenty of scope to develop within the role.

We are searching for somebody who has a natural ability to connect and build rapport with people, somebody who is committed to delivering impeccable customer service, and who is extremely organised with exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:



Engage & respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner, understanding their requirements and providing accurate product information to help them select the right products - you must be confident face to face, by phone, on email and live chat Write accurate detailed sales quotations in a timely manner Proactively manage enquiries to convert leads into sales Act as a brand ambassador, delivering a positive customer experience at every touch point Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively with a positive attitude both verbally and written Manage order fulfilment, working closely with suppliers and delivery teams Stay informed about product updates, promotions and company news to provide accurate information to customers Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in our database. Review and update reports and spreadsheets to keep orders on track Update and maintain sales literature, our e-commerce website and retail POS system (training will be given across all systems)

Key Skills & Experience:



Strong customer service experience with a focus on building relationships Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as impeccable attention to detail Proven negotiation abilities to close sales deals effectively Able to learn quickly, and retain, a great depth of product knowledge Passion for pleasing customers and delivering exceptional customer service Highly proficient in using computer systems and software applications including a working knowledge of excel A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential attributes for success in this role.
This is a full-time position, and will include 2-3 Saturdays per month. You will be based in the showroom (opening hours 9am - 5.30pm) so you must be able to work full days. For the right candidate we would consider making this a part-time role, but it would still need to include 2-3 Saturdays per month (remuneration would be pro-rata). Given the slight out of town location, you will need to drive (free parking on site).

In return you will receive:

Competitive Salary + Generous Uncapped Commission structure. Salary based on experience. Commission will increase with experience and ability. OTE 35K+.
