At the heart of this role is

sales coordination

and

income growth

. You'll lead on bookings, build strong relationships, and help shape our approach to upselling, cross-selling, and developing new commercial ideas--all while delivering exceptional service and event support. You'll be the central point of contact for all non-artistic venue hires across our iconic spaces from community events to education or corporate events and you'll lead everything from enquiry and contract management, manage the seamless handover to event delivery teams and subsequent follow-up.


You're organised, proactive and great with people. You thrive on variety, enjoy collaboration, and have an eye for both detail and opportunity. You understand how to manage multiple priorities--and do it all with a smile. Experience with venue or event coordination is critical, but your drive and potential matter just as much.



About You
Are you a natural organiser with a flair for creativity, commercial thinking and attention to detail? Want to play a key role in booking events and growing income at one of the UK's most vibrant arts centres? We're looking for a Sales Development Officer, someone who can co-ordinate non-artistic hires across our venues and drive income through repeat and new business bringing energy, efficiency and ideas to expanding our hires and sales activity.


What you'll do:

Coordinate and deliver non-artistic hires from first enquiry through to event day Drive sales and achieve income targets Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients Explore new revenue opportunities, from merchandising to bespoke packages Maintain accurate records and reporting using Artifax and other systems Ensure events meet all policies on safety, safeguarding and best practice Represent Warwick Arts Centre's welcoming, ambitious, and inclusive spirit

About the Department
Warwick Arts Centre is the largest multi art form arts centre outside London, presenting events, activities, films and exhibitions to over 200,000 people every year.


We are one of the region's leading learning, visual arts, cinema and performing arts venues. We work with exceptional artists and creatives from the city, region and globally delivering a programme that reflects our local and global context.
