We're looking for a motivated
Sales Development Representative

About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative at Biesse, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers and prospects. Your role is vital in helping us identify new sales opportunities and supporting the wider sales and marketing teams.
You'll be reaching out to businesses across the UK, understanding their production needs, and helping introduce them to Biesse's advanced solutions in manufacturing technology. By qualifying leads and booking appointments, you allow our Sales team to focus on closing deals, making your work essential to our overall success.
This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work from home, but you'll also attend team sessions and meetings at the office. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, CRM, and Technical departments, so being a good communicator and team player is key.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with prospective and current customers
by phone and email to identify interest and qualify opportunities
Book meetings
for the Sales team with decision-makers and key stakeholders in target companies
Follow up
on inbound leads from our website, phone calls, and email campaigns
Track and manage
customer data using our CRM system (Salesforce)
Assist with lead generation
from marketing events like exhibitions, webinars, and tradeshows
Support ongoing marketing campaigns
by following up with recipients and updating contact information
Work collaboratively
across departments to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads to Sales
Take part in ad hoc sales or marketing projects
as needed
What We're Looking For
Confident communicator with great phone skills
Experience in cold calling, telesales, or a customer-facing role
Comfortable using CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus)
Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload
A team player who's motivated by hitting targets
Experience in manufacturing (especially wood, glass, or stone) is a bonus
