About the Role
The role of a Sales Development Representative within Biesse is a role that has become increasingly important in supporting the sales team efficiency and supporting marketing activity. The role's aim is to add leads and opportunities to the front of the pipeline; allowing the sales team to focus on hot leads and closing their current opportunities driving efficiencies.
Reporting into the CRM Digital Prospection Manager you would be calling and speaking to current and potential customers, identifying the needs of their business and production issues they are currently facing and selling the companies values & goals: "To simplify production processes to enhance a customer's potential for the material they are processing".
The role supports the Sales team, the CRM function and marketing as well as closely integrating with the technology department and service too, requiring strong stakeholder engagement skills as well as the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks / projects at the same time.
Key Responsibilities
Contacting Companies database (customers & Prospects) to generate Leads for Sales Team
Breaking down gatekeepers to speak to the decision makers / influencers
Follow up of Exhibition/Event leads
Follow up of Inbound enquiries (Website / Phone)
Ad hoc projects when required
Keeping customer data up to date with the CRM system (Salesforce)
Supporting marketing with follow ups from email campaigns (bounces/new or updated data)
What We're Looking For
An ideal candidate would have experience of:
Cold Calling Telephone marketing or sales experience working with an experienced sales team
CRM experience (Salesforce desired but similar CRM system that is transferrable would be required)
Experience of breaking down gatekeepers and speaking to decision makers within businesses
Strong interpersonal skills both internally and externally
Strong planning & the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately
Self-motivation to work towards targets
