Why is this role important?





Are you a curious, proactive, and commercially savvy individual ready to make a significant impact on sales growth? We're building out our mid-market sales motion, and this high-visibility SDR role is crucial to its success!


You'll be one of the first SDRs focused on this exciting segment, meaning you'll have the ownership to influence our outbound playbook. This isn't just about making calls; it's about helping define how we engage larger customers, craft targeted outreach, and truly open doors. If you're looking for a role with clear room to grow, where you can partner closely with marketing, sales, and product to refine our messaging and test new ways of reaching the right buyers, then this is for you!

What You'll Be Doing ? ?? ?



Drive Pipeline Growth:

Identify and engage high-potential mid-market prospects across target verticals. You'll be the architect of new opportunities! ?

Own Outbound Prospecting:

Create and execute compelling email, call, and social outreach strategies to generate interest and qualify leads. ??

Refine Messaging:

Work closely with marketing and sales to shape outbound messaging, sequences, and offers that truly resonate with budget holders and influencers. ?

Qualify Opportunities:

Run thoughtful discovery conversations, understanding pain points and needs, before handing off high-intent leads to Account Executives with clear context.

Collaborate Across Functions:

Partner with the mid-market marketing lead and Account Executives to align campaigns with sales goals and drive conversion across the funnel.

Track and Optimise:

Utilise HubSpot (or Salesforce) and sales engagement tools to meticulously track outreach, iterate sequences, and continuously improve conversion rates.
Maintain awareness of and be compliant with information security protocols in relation to your job role and handling of any data.

What we value for this role:





You bring strong in a B2B sales or SDR/BDR role, ideally within SaaS or tech, with exposure to outbound prospecting and mid-market sales.
Commercial Curiosity: You instinctively understand what makes a good lead and are eager to learn about buyer needs, market dynamics, and how to tailor messaging for maximum impact.Collaboration with Marketing: You've successfully worked with marketing teams and understand how to leverage their support to win.
Strong Communicator: You're confident crafting persuasive cold emails, starting engaging conversations, and adapting your messaging to different personas.Self-Starter: You're proactive, highly organised, and energised by targets. You don't wait to be told - you test, learn, and eagerly suggest improvements. ?
Team Player: You collaborate exceptionally well across sales and marketing, and you're keen to be part of building something impactful, not just following a script.

Nice to have but not essential:




Interest in growing into a full-cycle AE or enterprise BDR role long-term.Experience with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar.
