The Smashing Glass Company is a well?established and growing IGU manufacturer based in Nottingham. We are recruiting a commercially minded
Sales/Business Development Representative
to join our small, friendly, hands?on team.
This is a
newly created role
designed to strengthen our market presence and bring new customers into the business.
The role offers a
roughly 50/50 split between office?based sales activity and planned field visits
, focusing on smart lead generation, confident phone?based sales, and purposeful customer meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new business through structured outbound calling, follow?ups, and warm leads
Build and develop relationships with uPVC, aluminium, and timber fabricators, joiners, builders, and trade customers
Work closely with the office team to convert enquiries into orders
Carry out planned visits to pre?qualified prospects and existing customers
Support customers and the wider business with day?to?day sales and order processing
About You:
B2B sales experience (glazing or construction preferred)
Confident, organised, and comfortable on the phone
Enjoys building long?term customer relationships
Happy working in a small, growing, hands?on business
Salary & Progression:
Salary based on experience, performance, and commercial contribution
