We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT solutions, and will be adept at communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will play a key role in driving sales through effective customer engagement and by providing tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
Duties
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored IT solutions.
Present technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
Demonstrate products and services to potential customers, highlighting features and benefits.
Prepare detailed proposals and presentations that address client requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
Utilise office software, including Excel, for reporting and analysis purposes.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to ensure client satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role is preferred.
Strong IT background
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
Proficient in using office applications, particularly Excel for data management and reporting.
Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A customer-centric approach with a strong focus on delivering value to clients.
Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous.
