This is a varied, hands-on role combining presales engineering with account management responsibilities. You'll play a key part in driving new business while supporting existing clients to get the most from our technology solutions.
Working closely with senior management, you'll be supported to quickly understand our offerings and develop your portfolio from day one.
Duties
- Supporting the full sales lifecycle, from lead qualification through to solution design and conversion
- Managing your own portfolio of client accounts, ensuring retention, satisfaction and service excellence
- Collaborating with the technical team to design and implement IT solutions
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans alongside senior management
- Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
- Taking a proactive, consultative approach to client engagement
- Representing Octavian IT at industry events to generate new leads
- Consistently working towards agreed sales targets
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in technical/MSP sales
- Previous exposure to the IT or technology sector
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A self-motivated, driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders at senior levels
- Experience working within a managed service provider environment
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
