Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Engineer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent sales skills. You will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and providing expert technical advice on our pump and fluid handling systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients across various sectors, including utilities, construction, and industrial processing.
• Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions using our product range.
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to develop customised solutions that meet specific client needs and technical specifications.
• Provide expert technical advice and support throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-sale follow-up.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and areas for product improvement.
• Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our products and expand our client base.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective sales materials and strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and project details in the company's CRM system.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pump technology and fluid handling systems to maintain your expertise in the field.
• Conduct site visits and field assessments to gather technical data and ensure proper system specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed quotations, proposals, and tender documents.
• Provide after-sales support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure client satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2 years of experience in technical or industrial sales, preferably in the pump or fluid handling industry.
• Knowledge of pumps, fluid dynamics, and related systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
