Border Temperature Control Ltd is a growing Refrigeration and Air Conditioning business working with commercial clients across the region. We design, install, and maintain refrigeration, air conditioning and associated energy-efficiency upgrades with a focus on long-term customer relationships and quality delivery.

We are looking for a practical, customer focused ales Engineer to help us grow further. This is a consultative role, understanding the customer's operation, identifying the right solution, building a clear proposal and seeing it through from enquiry to order.

Working closely with our engineering and office teams to ensure quotes are accurate, projects are scoped correctly, and customers receive a professional experience every time.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop a pipeline of commercial refrigeration and Air conditioning opportunities. Attend site surveys, gather technical information Produce clear, concise and competitive proposals and quotations Advise customers on options, efficiency improvements, controls, heat recovery, and lifecycle costs. Follow up leads, close sales, and keep CRM records up to date Coordinate with operations/engineers to ensure smooth handover from sale to delivery Build relationships with existing customers to generate repeat work/maintenance contracts, etc.

What we're looking for

Experience in Refrigeration and Air conditioning sales or an engineer looking to move into sales. Strong technical understanding with a willingness to learn Confident communicator, able to explain technical solutions in plain English Organised, motivated and comfortable managing your own diary and targets Fill UK driving licence

Desirable

Experience in quoting VRF/VRV, splits, chillers, cold rooms, pack systems, service contracts, etc. Familiarity with CRM systems, i.e. Joblogic or similar Prior sales experience within the industry or similar
