Your Role
To strengthen our sales team and support the growth of our business, we are looking for a
Sales Engineer (M/F)
on a permanent contract (CDI) based in Manchester or Limerick.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
Identify Business Opportunities:
Identify relevant targets: clients and prospects
Prospect and qualify needs
Identify potential projects
Analyse Client Needs and Decide on Go / No Go:
Review specifications and engage with the client to ensure a smooth process
In case of a Go, pass the specifications to Pre-Sales or Consulting
Assess project feasibility with the team
Develop the Best Strategy to Turn Opportunities into Contracts:
Build and lead the project team ("dream team")
Establish trustful relationships with stakeholders
Be actively involved in the project: on-site meetings, sharing references, executive involvement
Understand functional, technical, and human constraints: deadlines, budget, decision-making cycle
Choose the appropriate method: mock-up, POC, project charter
Provide a detailed, illustrated, and tailored response without over-selling
Negotiate and Close Contracts:
Defend pricing, margin, and contractual terms
Handover to Delivery Teams:
Ensure a complete handover
Monitor operations and client satisfaction
Participate in kick-off meetings for strategic projects
Develop and maintain a partner ecosystem if needed
Support Marketing and Communication:
Participate in webinars, sales events, trade shows
Contribute to the sales action plan with the marketing team
Support communication: write articles, posts, and content for social media
Administrative Responsibilities:
Update CRM
Finalize purchase orders with software publishers and pass them to the sales administration team
Other Details:
National travel are required by the role
Compensation & Benefits: fixed salary + bonuses

Profil
Profile Required
Graduate from a business school or equivalent (Master's level /BAC +4/+5)
At least 2 years of experience selling B2B software solutions, or 5 years in a similar role (Sales / Pre-Sales) in this field. Junior profiles will be considered.
Ideally, you also have:
Experience in digitization or dematerialization solutions
Strong commercial drive
A "hunter" mentality and a taste for new challenges
Your interpersonal skills, autonomy, and analytical ability will be key to successfully managing strategic business opportunities with diverse stakeholders.
