The Role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic, proactive team player to join us as an Estimator / Internal Sales Engineer. While technical knowledge is important, your attitude, curiosity, and approach to teamwork are what matter most.

This office-based role involves producing detailed estimates, bids, and tenders, ensuring proposals are accurate, competitive, and delivered to a high standard. You'll work on projects across private and public sectors, interpreting drawings and specifications, and helping the team make well-informed commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Building strong relationships with new and existing clients, including internal colleagues Reviewing drawings, specifications, and other project documents Preparing detailed cost estimates for projects Keeping accurate records of estimates and supporting documentation Supporting the team to secure new work and contribute to our business growth

Skills & Experience (Required / Advantageous):

Electrical estimating experience Strong electrical knowledge or relevant qualifications Microsoft 365 proficiency AutoCAD experience (desirable not essential) Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines simultaneously Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong time management and able to prioritise workload effectively Comfortable working independently and as part of a busy team Strong written and verbal communication
