You will join a busy team to assist the Sales & Estimating Department in day-to-day Sales and Estimating tasks, Supply only.
You will have competent I.T. and data entry skills and office experience as well as a high level of attention to detail, effective organisational and communication skills (both orally and written), and experience of providing excellent customer service
MAIN ACTIVITIES
To collate all details to successfully submit a relevant and accurate quotation to our customers within 24 - 48 hours from receipt of their enquiry.
To check the suitability and application of the product that the customer has specified and offer a more suitable product to achieve the same result.
To calculate costs by referring to existing customer price lists whilst achieving satisfactory margins.
To raise an accurate quotation using our order processing/estimating package "gtrak" and record all relevant information within the CRM.
To log and track all quotations and carry out a "follow up courtesy call" in line with company sales estimators procedures. Liaise with sales team to follow quotation to its conclusion.
To work closely with the Sales Representative in identifying new prospects and customers and recording contact and progress on our CRM system.
Maintaining adequate records, keeping an up to date filing system for all quotations, in line with company Sales Estimators procedures.
Operate a variety of standard office machines, including pc, a variety of computer software including Microsoft Office, phone, fax, and photocopying machine.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by always keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team efforts by helping and assisting work colleagues to achieve goals.
Sending standard letters and reports as an when required.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
Undertake any other duties commensurate to the role as and when required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Demonstrate a broad knowledge of fire glass products, techniques, rules and regulations; use this knowledge to drive sales.
Able to identify current and prospective sales opportunities, and managing relationships with existing and new customers.
A sound knowledge of the principles and practices of sales, with an ability to open, negotiate and close a sale.
Excellent interpersonal skills with exceptional influencing and negotiation skills.
Ability to exercise initiative and independence when carrying out this role, whilst also working effectively as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and agreed targets.
Demonstrate sound I.T skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
An ability to analyse, record and report data efficiently and accurately.
Knowledge of producing management information and report writing.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service/care.
Knowledge of contributing to/developing business plans which align to company goals.

Extensive experience of working within a sales and customer account management role
